With a yearly production of 700 films, the Indian film industry is the largest fantasy factory of the world. The viewer is there to discover this fascinating yet brutal microcosm where stars are adorned and technicians are disposable. Where the underworld tries to control the financial mechanisms whilst more and more independent filmmakers want to comment on social issues, giving people a chance to reflect on their own situation.
